The College locksmith is responsible for issuing and maintaining all locks and keys and the records associated with them. Residence Life assumes responsibility for student housing keys once procured from Access Control. Vendors, contractors, and utility companies are responsible for proper use when signing out keys to perform work.
Costs associated with lost key replacements and re-keying locksets are the responsibility of the person who is assigned the key.
The Custodial group is responsible for the cleanliness of all academic, residential, administrative, and athletic buildings. The staff maintains residence hall common areas such as entryways, stairways, hallways, and public restrooms. Custodial services are not provided in student rooms or faculty housing units.
The General Trades group provides carpentry, painting, and masonry services and repairs to furniture, walls, doors, and stairs.
The Grounds group cares for the campus lawns, gardens, walkways, parking decks, and roadways. Additionally, Grounds is responsible for the collection of trash and recycling materials.
Comprehensive maintenance services to all facilities are provided by the Mechanical Trades group, consisting of electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians.
The Steam Plant group operates and maintains the boilers providing a large portion of the heat to the campus and maintain off-campus heating equipment. In addition, College vehicles are maintained by Steam Plant staff.
